I had an old version on my iBook G4 Mac 10.39 and I tried to upload and now lost everything. How can I get my bookmarks and firefox back?

Firefox was working just fine on my 2004 ibook G4 computer with a Mac 10.39 browser. Then, I got an email message that I needed to upgrade my browser in order to see the new Yahoo email. So I clicked on the link and it took me Firefox 4. I downloaded it and then it asked if I wanted to replace my old Firefox and I said 'Yes". BIG mistake because when I tried to open firefox 4 - I got the error message: Firefox won't open because it is incomplete or damaged. Then, I couldn't get my old firefox back and I lost all of my hundreds of bookmarks. Please advise and help me! I have been searching for hours for an old version of Firefox to download that is compatible with my iBook and to no avail. Please tell me where to go to download a new Firefox please.

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever release for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and earlier versions.

Thanks so very much - 2.0.0.20 is the version I had and after downloading it - ALL of my bookmarks came back too! Thank you! Thank you!  :)
