I have been using Firefox for years and loved the feature that allowed you to bookmark all the open tabs within an open Firefox window too a bookmarks folder name. This has been supported until the latest version 3.0.16

But I recently updated to version 4 and i cann't find the option in the bookmarks drop down menu anymore. Can you please advise me where its gone too or what I need to turn on and where to get it back.

Thank you

Chosen solution

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu. "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Bookmarks menu is one of them.
You can see the difference if you use Alt+B or Alt+F to open some menus.

  • "Bookmark All Tabs" no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Hey Cor-el,

Thank you very much for your solution. I don't use keyboard short cuts within firefox much. So this would of been a hard one to get to. Thanking you for your help.

  • Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
  • Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
