Mac power book G4. When I downloaded and installed Firefox 4 the message said that my hardware was not compatible and left me with no browser. How do I get the latest 3.6 version

more options

Firefox upgraded its 3.6 earlier this week. After the upgrade firefox pitched upgrading to 4.0. I did so and attempted replace the installed 3.6 I directed placed the 4.o install icon into the existing 3.6 icon and said to replace the existing 3.6. I invoked the "replace ok" Next I am confronted with a message that my G4 laptop was incompatible or incapable to verison 4. My original 3.6 version has vanished. So I am now on Safari. Forever because I cannot find a 3.6v version on your web site.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4.0, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .

Or you can get Firefox 3.6.16 from here:
