I've installed FF4 on my laptop and my girlfriends desktop. How do I check my emails on her computer or she check her emails on my computer without messing up each others settings?

With Firefox you can't have multiple simultaneous logins to the same server, the limitation involves cookie sessions; you need to log out of one account and then log into the other account.

Try one of these extensions for multiple cookie sessions.
Multifox:

Cookie Swap extension:

Cookie Pie extension:

Thank you for your prompt response. While experimenting, I found that I could indeed log out and log into a new user and it would leave all the personal settings intact when re-logged in. To your knowledge, will one of the extensions you listed allow me to do what I was originally trying to do without logging off and logging on to a new user account?
