In location bar, when I type something, Firefox use Ask search. Its imposable to set Google for that search. Any way to remove that ask and put Google seachr

  1. Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Locate the preference keyword.URL, right-click on it and choose Reset

It is already set to default. Even when I change it and put back (reset)- but Ask search is here again.

Do you have any Ask add-ons such as the Ask toolbar installed?

To test if an add-on is causing this, in the Help sub-menu select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled", in the dialog box that comes up, do not select any options, just click on "Continue in Safe Mode". If the search now uses Google, it indicates an add-on is causing this. To find out what add-on, follow the procedure in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
