Since this last Sunday, March 13th, I have not been able to open a new tab. I used to use ctrl+t and it would open up a new tab. I've also tried going to File up in the tool bar, and going to New Tab and this isn't working either. The only way I can get a new tab is to go to Help in the tool bar, and going to Troubleshooting Info. This opens up that tab, and I change it to the address I need to go to.

Help!

Chosen solution

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

THANK YOU Tony! It worked. Funny, I originally removed the Ask toolbar, but I guess it removed it only from the toolbar. I unistalled it, and my tabs are back. Thank you very much!!

You're welcome
