I would like to have a normal background for Firefox and not have a Halloween motif. Under the tool bar...( file, edit, view...ect.) is a blue background with bats, pumpkin, cats and items like that and I would like to remove / change it from this setting, how do I do that?

It sounds like you have a persona (light weight theme) installed. Try switching to a different theme or persona, or use the default theme. For details see Use themes to change the look of Firefox.
