Firefox will not install at all
Well, what it really happened is i was trying to attach some pictures in my email, but the browse button didn't work at all. So, i went to my other computer with firefox on it also, and it did fine.
So, i just downloaded firefox 3.6 again and just installed it but instead of reinstalling all it did was delete firefox alltogether, now i can't even install firefox, period, it won't even install all the way it just gets to installing, then a little housekeeping and skips to finished.... 58kbs in the folder....
So, i'm wondering wtf is going on, and why it won't reinstall firefox for me.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Not only will firefox not install but now i get errors when i try to install anything
the error was 0x80070005 have no clue what is going on now.
It worked fine a week ago now i can't install anything on my comp.
Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

You may also need to disable your anti-virus software during the installation and try to run the Firefox installer as Administrator if you do not get an UAC alert to confirm elevated privileges.
I used all the above - and they came out clean.
So, i really don't what's going on.
I don't want to have to do a factory reset...
I'm just trying to figure out why i can't download anything and why i can't add attachments to my emails.
Also, is there an error log for computers? Maybe that would help more?

just a few of the error's i get. I've been to many other tech sites but no answers yet as to why i can't install programs like antivirus,games anything in general really lol. Also, when i click browse to try and access pictures to post i can't, when i click browse the window just doesn't open up. I just get like a trying to look. Like it wants to open a popup window so i can browse pictures but it doesn't.
Btw the way i'm running windows vista home premium
service pack 2 Manufacturer- Hewlett packard ram-3gigs OS 64bit
Don't know if that will help but though i would give it a shot..
