all of a sudden when linking through book marks to my banks, a message is showing "This connection is Untrusted" It says that someone is trying to impersonate the site. Can you tell me what is happening?

Had a few viruses several weeks ago which was cleaned out, now when using links that worked two days ago, messages are appearing that say that the connection is untrusted. It is saying that the site's identity cannot be verified. It also says that if you usually connect to the site with no problems, the error could mean someone is impersonating the site. Could I have a virus which was not identified? It is only occurring on sites that have my bank information? What should I do?

Rename or delete secmod.db (secmod.db.old) and possibly cert8.db (cert8.db.old) in the Profile Folder in case there is a problem with those files.

Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Open Containing folder
