Remember Password check box is shaded and can not be changed, How do I fix this?
The box to choose whether to have Firefox remember passwords is shaded and can not be changed. How do I change this so that Firefox will remember my passwords again?

Are you in private browsing mode? In that mode some features are disabled including remembering passwords.
Also see username and password not remembered.
Not in private mode. I have tried everything in the help section. Nothing seems to work.
Got it working again. Had to reinstall Firefox, now the remember password check box is active again.
