Flickr has introduced a new outlook page. Lots of Flickr members are having problems with this which they appear to ignore. Especially, the drop down menus on the individual photo pages (these is a page when you click on a photo). These drop down menus don't appear to work, not only in Firefox but also in Explorer. The drop-downs called Actions and Share This? They work well for me, at least the parts I tried. (There are lots of Actions...) Note that I run WinXP.

If you are personally encountering problems with Flickr, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete your Flickr cookies

Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Carefully remove the site's cookies individually, do NOT click remove "all" unless you really want to remove all your cookies (there is no undo for this dialog).

Actions and Share are also working fine for me on multiple computers running Firefox 3.6.8 on Mac OS X.

Thank you very much, unfortunately it did not help. Still having the same problems. I have a friend in Canada who has the same problems, he blames it on internet connectivity. If he takes his laptop to another town it works well. I am living in Tanzania and the connectivity is pretty good (compared to the past), maybe this is the cause. The Flickr help support has been pretty lousy so far!
