Firefox will not close tabs (with "x" or keyboard shortcut)

Posted

I cannot close tabs. They open and function properly, except when it comes to closing the tab. This is regardless of whether I use the "x" to try to close out or the keyboard shortcut. It is happening both at home (Mac Snow Leopard) and work (Windows - not sure what year). I'm on the latest version of Firefox (3.6.8) for both.

This happened

A few times a week

Try disabling the AddThis extension. It worked for me, tabs closed immediately.
