Advertisements keep replacing web pages i am viewing.

When i load web pages this happens with any pages at random) i get an advertisement that hijacks the page, i then have to skip the advert in order view the page i was on before.

Every time Firefox opened

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

tried spyware programs suggested, i still get the advertisements. it is only with Firefox. usually when i first start up firefox,

think i figured out the problem. noticed some add ons for firefox i didn't know about when i had some updates. i disabled a price gong add on and some Bing search toolbar add on. this fixed the problem, not sure which one was doing it but it has stopped.
