This just resolved my problem...

Panda Cloud Antivirus 1.3 TOOLBAR isn't compatible with Mozilla Firefox v.3.6.12 (at least that's the version my problem started with). IE, however, wasn't affected by the toolbar at all. The toolbar must have been installed with a PandaCloud automatic version upgrade (I'm using the free edition, but it comes with Pro also).

I uninstalled the toolbar, and I can open my yahoo mail again - before this, I could see my mail in quickview, but got similar url as AnonymousUser above.

Also, I had started having a problem opening websites with Firefox, getting error page: "Sorry, we can't find name of website, Please check the spelling of the web address." and in the address bar: "http://urlseek60.vmn.net/search.php?tbn=… " . But, when I clicked to go back a page (usually to a google search results page), the site I wanted would load ok.

The favicon that showed with both the yahoo mail error and website error was VMN. After hours, days, weeks now of virus scanning and searching "VMN" and "vmn.net", etc., etc., today I found my fix when I googled "what is vmn.net" (go figure...).

Credit, and my many, many thanks to to the Asker of the question here - I didn't try the answer's fix, but my thanks to you too - simply uninstalling the toolbar worked for me: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101127210427AAR2i8V

For more info on PandaCloud feature install options, see 10/27/2010 post at: http://blog.cloudantivirus.com/ I may reinstall the toolbar and/or some features once I know more about them, but if I do, I'll either need to change browsers, or perhaps Firefox/Panda will have found a fix by then.

Sorry for being so wordy... I just couldn't be more thrilled that I can get on with my (computer) life! Hope this helps someone.

I've had the same problem since PAV updated to 1.4 a couple of days ago. Got the vmn search page instead of yahoo mail. I uninstalled Panda toolbar and the URL filter. Now I get a 404 page that won't go away. Don't know what to do.

Yahoo customer service suggested unistalling and reinstalling FF. Is this necessary? If so, how do I save my bookmarks and other customizations?

I'm doing this through Google Chrome which is unaffected by whatever this is. Safari still works too. Never thought I would rely on either.

So glad noyb has fixed this one for him/herself.
