Since yesterday, when I open a new tab, the tab is an almost blank white page, only showing "What are you searching for?", with a small globe/magnifying glass next to the search text box. Any ideas?

Over the past couple of days, whenever I open a new tab in Firefox, I am taken to a new search page. The page is almost blank and white. It says "What are you searching for?". There is a small globe with a magnifying glass over the top right hand side - this is to the left of the search dialogue box. I think when I used to click on New Tab, I went to my Yahoo home page....Any ideas?

If you want new tabs to open your home page, use this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/777/

The basic Firefox installation opens a blank page when you create a new Tab, something you installed into Firefox has added that feature.

Do you have a Yahoo toolbar installed along with the Google toolbar?

I have the same problem, I fix it by uninstalling RadioBar Toolbar

Hi
