Yes and no.
The older Firefox 115 ESR channel is based on the old Firefox 115.0 Release but with security/stability fixes since.
Mozilla is keeping the old Firefox 115 ESR channel updated with security/stability fixes so the EOL macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 and Windows 7, 8, 8.1 OS users can still have a secure web browser to use for a while still. Chrome/Chromium based browsers dropped support back in Jan/Feb 2023.
The last planned update will be Fx 115.53.0esr on March 23 unless Mozilla decides to extend updates yet again.

The Gmail site should still work fine unless Google makes changes that does not work well in older Firefox versions like Fx 115.0
If your hardware allows for a macOS update to macOS 10.15.0 or later then you would be able to run the current versions of Firefox like the Firefox 158.0 Release and Firefox 153.3.0 ESR.
Anyway, Firefox 115 browser is out of date. Take a look at these discussions https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1609819

Hi! Just chiming in to say that if the functionality is intact (and it's just the warning being displayed), we should be fine. If you encounter any major breakages, though, please let us know here.
