Closed tab groups still count as open tabs on some screens.
On the Firefox mobile app, closed tab groups still count toward the open tabs count on some screens. This is frustrating as someone who likes to keep track of my open, active tabs accurately.
Not sure if this is an intended feature or not, but it is frustrating nonetheless.

This got misfiled under desktop so it didn't get the attention it deserved.
Did you check for existing bug reports if this is already filed? It seems bugzilla.mozilla.org/2044410 might cover the closed groups too?
