Restoring PC after hard drive crash, found entire last Firefox profile folder has parent.lock

Running Windows 11. Firefox was running at the time the hard drive crashed. When installing FF on the new drive, found the last profile folder set to parent.lock. Since it's the entire folder, I can't see which of the files in the profile were locked. I have a backup of two weeks prior (separate issue -- I was unaware my nightly backups weren't working for two weeks), but I'd like to recover the bookmark and password changes in that time.

Is there a way to get into the folder, or do I just need to accept the loss and go with the previous backup?

So does that mean you require a password even if you are the administrator of the PC

@amoun: I'm not relating to your question. I'm logged in to Windows as admin. The profile name is eli2wpto.default-1624888151653. When I try to open it there is a single folder named "parent.lock". There is no opportunity to enter a password.
