I have a Win 11 mozilla app which has had several experiments to overcome suddenly appearing problems with receiving and sending emails at this point, thunderbird starts up, and suddenly CPU use spikes hard and it then crashes, ram and disk capacity ok.

how do I configure the account to minimize CPU resources when thunderbird starts up. Once I can get thuderbird to start OK, what are the next steps. It is likely this user has not powered this machine down more often than once every few months. And thanks, I don't anyone else who uses their computer like this.

Perhaps provide the crash report ids so someone can have a look at the issues specifically See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozilla-crash-reporter-tb#w_viewing-crash-reports
