how do i stop unwanted firefox pop ups at the right of the screen
When signed in Firefox puts popups on the right of the screen that refer to my incoming mail. I end up having to delete them all the time. How can I prevent these popups?

That most likely comes from the site which must have requested your permission in the past. The article Web Push notifications in Firefox has the details including a section on revoking said permissions.
