Firefox fails to restore previous session/tabs on launch (and Cmd + Shift + T fails), despite "Open previous windows and tabs" being enabled.

I have experience with chrome as i used to close the window then open i have my last session all the tabs occuring but in firefox im unable to do that even in settings of startup i have selected to open my previous tabs and windows but nothing opens just a blank screen also i cannot open recently closed tabs by command + shift+ T kindly help it is very annoying as i lose my presvous sessions again and again. Thanks

Just to check, by "close window" you mean quit the app? Because on macOS if you close the window first (the red "x" traffic light button in the corner of a window) all you're saving in the session is an empty state with no windows or tabs.

yes i exit by closing the window with red X tab

In that case on macOS you'll always only ever get empty session restore.

Next time try via menu Firefox › Quit Firefox with windows still open to see if that saves your session correctly.
