How can I turn off Notifications from FireFox? I'm being bombarded by notifions from Firefox, Macafee and other paid anti-viruses and I can't shut them off!

I'm being bombarded by FireFox regarding "Dangerous Files" Downloaded, and I cant find a way to turn them off! I have Malewarebytes installed and I don't need nor desire for FireFox and a number of your PAID advertisers like McAfee, to be involved in my on-line protection.
