in firefox the vpn button isn't showing and there's no vpn setting in privacy and security
I saw the update that you added vpn to firefox, but I can't use it. It doesn't show up in the toolbar anywhere and there are no vpn options anywhere in settings. When I try and create a second profile THEN I get the vpn option but when I click on it it says that I can only use it with the original profile.

If you go to about:studies in your original profile, what active VPN-related studies do you see?
Regarding the message you see, it's related to your Mozilla account, not the VPN itself. You can't use the same Mozilla account with different profiles on the same device, since Sync will eliminate the purpose of separate profiles then. Let's focus on your original profile for now (knowing that at least your location suggests that you may have the VPN available).
about:studies? what? that's not an option anywhere I can see. If you click help then you see about but no studies.
