There are two VPN options now. The built-in VPN in the Firefox web browser starting 149.0 in a rollout in some places and the separate subscription based "Mozilla VPN" app where Windows users do have the "Mozilla VPN Extension" option.

There is no extension for the new "VPN built-in Firefox (149.0)".
