This new profile choice is annoying and athe icons are upsetting blobs. Can any of this be changed?
Just this week I found it was impossible to get to firefox browsing until I chose an upsetting blob as my profile. Is there anyway to skip this step or at least to change that blob to something that makes a more pleasant experience?

Thank you all, the new information in the support article enabled me to get rid of the constant question and just open my home page. However I seem to have lost all history. Or I had until I just checked and it was there. Must have been linked to something in the profile choice. Thank you all. Just wish I had never been stranded with that" choice " in the first place.

Thanks to everyone. Here is the screenshot.
Did you check the current homepage setting and possibly set a new homepage like the Firefox Home page?

I cannot get to my home page which has been the same for over twenty five years until I choose a profile. I have checked the home page settings and can't find issues.

This Profile Icon on the task bar is a violation of the ADA WCAG standards. I do not want any profile icon on the FF icon. NONE. It took years to convince my brain that that orange box means Firefox. Add an icon and I have to start over.n I have a visual processing disorder. I have object agnosia. My brain does not define abstract images as having a meaning. The icon is just a visual distraction. I have a memory disorder, too. I have to try to figure out what that icon means every time I see it again.
It literally took me FIVE years to convince my brain that the home button icon means home and not building or house. Prior to the Quantum Dumpster Fire ?upgrade? I could choose icons with TEXT. I could read HOME and instantly know it is the home button. No more. Now, I have to stop to try to select the icon that means home. I do not use Chrome or Edge because their ADA customization options are even less.
I lost tabs on the bottom so they connect with the associated page.
Firefox.
