My routine login to my Apple e-mail account just failed
My routine login to my Apple e-mail account just failed. neither my new Apple ID password or my old special T'bird Apple mail password xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx works.
What changed and how can I fix it?
[edited from public] @icloud.com seems to be working on Apple Mail, but T'bird won't connect...

Hi Alexander,
Publishing your Apple ID and a password is not a good idea. It does not matter much in this case because that app-specific password was revoked when you changed your Apple ID password. You will either have to generate a new app-specific password or see if this other method works (I don't know if it does): https://support.apple.com/en-us/121539
