I have Version 140.8.0esr | Released February 24, 2026, for Linux Mint (up to date)

I have a CardDAV address book on a Nextcloud instance that i want to sync to Thunderbird.

When i open Address Book and the clikc on " Create a new address book" the Account Hub modal window opens. None of the 4 options (including Add Remote Address Book" do anything, i.e. I can click as much as I like but nothing happens.

Just a suggestion, not nessarily a solution: check settings>general and if the account hub is ticked, untick and retry your connection.

Seems to have been just related to the version of TB. I installed v148 directly from source (not via Mint) and the account hub is working correctly.

Similar issue with Thunderbird 149.0.2 (64-bit) and the account hub. It let's me enter a user name and a hostname/domain, but it tells me "authentication failure". And of course: it never asks for the password.

Unticking the "experimental" feature of account hubs in the settings does not disable the experimental account hub feature. Not even after restart.

Not sure how to proceed, the experimental feature doesn't seem to be documented anywhere...

Issue persists in 150.0

"authentication failure" for Nextcloud carddav ?
