Thunderbird SuperNova on 32 bit Win 7 machine
I am trying to re-install Thunderbird on my wife's old Gateway desktop. I downloaded version 115.18.0 and tried to install it, but get a message saying it can't be installed because my OS is 32 bit. I thought the SuperNova would work for both 64 and 32 bit OS platforms. (It does work on my Toshiba laptop, which is a 64 bit Win 7 machine.) If this version of Thunderbird will not work, what about the last version that will. It was installed years ago. Thanks, Peter

There are both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions. The version you tried to install was 64-bit. You can install both 32-bit and 64-bit on 64-bit Windows though due to WOW64. With 32-bit Windows you can only run the 32-bit version.
Here is the 32-bit Thunderbird 115.18.0 for Windows. https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.18.0/win32/ as each folder is the language. https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.18.0/win32/en-US/ https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.18.0/win32/en-GB/ https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.18.0/win32/en-CA/
You can also download 32-bit Tb 115.18.0esr at https://www.thunderbird.net/download/ Just pick the Thunderbird Extended Support Release > Windows 7/8.1 > Installer type as 32-bit then Download.
