Firefox for iOS allows setting a custom homepage in Firefox Settings--why doesn't the Android version allow it?

Hi Bryan,

Setting a website as the home page is not currently available in Firefox for Android. Alternatively, you can add the URL as Top Sites, so you’ll be able to visit the page easily from the homepage. Please read Create a shortcut to a website on Firefox for Android to learn more about adding a shortcut and this article for cutomizing Firefox home screen.

I appreciate your reply, however, I wanted to know WHY it wasn’t an option not really how to work around it. Why make it an option on desktop and iOS but not for Android? Can we request that it be added?
