Thunderbird Move To Menu

I've come over from Postbox as that app is no longer being supported. In Postbox there was one file (panacea.dat) that controlled how many old locations you would see in the Move To menu. Once the number of items got to be a bit too muchj, I would delete that file and it would clear the Move To menu item. Is there such a file in Thunderbird that controls the Move To menu, or can it somehow be controlled by a setting in Thunderbird? Thank you.

Chosen solution

Yes, as long as TB is closed when the script is run. The json file is recreated automatically on TB restart.

The link states "Panacea.dat was replaced with folderCache.json. Close TB, rename folderCache.json, and restart TB."

So here's my additional question. With macOS it's easy enough to create either an applescript or an automator app to just delete the file. Would that be an acceptable solution as well?

Outstanding, thank you very much.
