Cannot enable Firefox Sync on Windows 11 PC

more options

I have been trying to enable Firefox Sync on my Windows 11 PC (Firefox 145.02). I open the Firefox Sync window, I click on Log In, I enter my e-mail and click on "Sign up or Sign In" and then the view freezes and I never get any further. The attached screen capture never changes, no matter how long I wait.

Hey DJ!!!  ;-))

Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search

What security software besides MS Defender are you running? Windows home or pro? If you're running Windows Pro version, I would test in Windows Sandbox to confirm. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/

Thanks, @jonzn4SUSE, I will give Troubleshoot Mode a try and report back. I use Bitdefender, I will temporarily turn it off. Windows Home.

Troubleshoot mode did not help.

Troublshoot mode + turning off BitDefender (as much as possible, I can't disable 100% of it without uninstalling) did not help.

Do you have any other suggestions?

more options

Boot to windows to safe mode with networking and test again.
