Thunderbird wants to access gmail
I get a pop-up every 5 minutes asking to let Thunderbird access my gmail account. I've never had the gmail account set up in Thunderbird and don't want it there. I hit the Deny button every time, but it never gives up. How can I make this stop? Thank you!

That could be a calendar or an address book as well as email. It might even be from the chat component, bu6 that is I hink probably unlikely you would know if you had a chat account configured.
So check your address book for a google contacts book, check in the calendar for a synced calendar and check in the account setings list for any mail accounts that may be hosted either on gmail or on a domain hosted by Google.
Thanks for the reply, Matt! I used to use Outlook for email, and I did import the address book from the Micosoft Outlook program. I also used that Outlook program to download a gmail account. I don't use the calendar or chat. Would it be easier to just remove Thunderbird and start over from scratch, entering the address book by hand?
