Connecting to a Mailfence Email

I've been trying to set up Thunderbird to manage my emails. I've had no issues connecting to gmail accounts, but when connecting to mailfence, the connection times out. I've tried increasing the timeout limit, changing my network and firewall settings, and re configuring the server settings with no luck. Are these services not compatible? It seems like this shouldn't be this complicated. Any help is greatly appreciated!

First, is yours a paid account - necessary for IMAP/POP/SMTP access. If it is, do you use a VPN?

I do have a paid account, so I should have IMAP access. I do use Mozilla VPN, but I have tried connecting with it both enabled and disabled and had the same results both times.

Try with Windows running in safe mode, to bypass startup apps like antivirus that are a common cause of timeouts, especially if they're not the built-in MS Windows Security. If safe mode isn't feasible, remove the non-MS AV, at least temporarily.
