Hello, I am seeing this since this morning. I get the notifications as shown in the attached images. The one about the TLS error came after I switched from SSL/TSL to StartTLS for connection security. I have now switched back to SSL/TLS port 993.
I'm on Fedora Linux, have no anti-virus program/add-on. Thunderbird release: 140.5.0esr (64-bit), installed as flatpak from Flathub
Hi again, I just found out it has nothing to do with Thunderbird. It is caused by my VPN. It seems the almighty Google hates VPN's. Now NordVPN, the one I use, has something new, at least new to me, and that is Nordwhisper, a different protocol which Google either doesn't know yet or agrees with. I have now chosen that and all is well again. My e-mails keep popping in as usual.
Sorry for the disturbance, however maybe somebody else can benefit from it as well.
