How to sync address book?
I have added a contact on my Iphone. How long will it take to propagate to Thunderbird email on my windows laptop? Is there a way to force the check of updated/added contacts/email addresses?

Thunderbird does not have a sync to iphones. Each has a separate addressbook.
It's possible to sync TB with an iCloud address book, by adding the iCloud contacts as a CardDAV address book. The time between autosync can be set in TB, or sync can be activated manually.

Open Address Book, click the icon to the left of the New Contact button, Add CardDAV address book, enter the icloud account address, enter https://contacts.icloud.com/ for the Location.... enter an app password when asked to authenticate.
