LAPTOP HACKED WITH A RANSOMWARE
My laptop was hacked last week with a ransomware malware, and all my company files were encrypted and now I can't reach them. To get the hackers off my laptop, Geek squad performed a wipe out of the operating system.
Is there a way of getting my emails? along with all the folders and sub folders back in my account? do you store emails somewhere where hackers can't reach them?
Please let me know, thanks. Blanca Reisfield

Thunderbird does not have a repository to save emails, other than the email folders associated with the accounts. Thunderbird acts only as an agent for email accounts. You might check with your email provider to see if they retain backups of user accounts.
