Email is not working for entire company - "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors." CAUSE: blue host problem?
My company uses your email software and everyones email is not working. For example, my email (madison.l@valleyhha.com) does not allow me to send messages without an error popping up (Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-madison.l@valleyhha.com.)
This goes for my entire staff of 20 people. Same error, also all my unread messaged in my inbox have now disappeared. Not only that but we are also not receiving any new emails either

Have you considered that this may be a true network issue, since all the PCs are affected? My suggestion is to logon online to see if email is working,
Nope not a newtwork issue. My staff also works from home, same issue is happening from their home as well.
What version of Thunderbird and O/S ( Windows, 10, 11 , LInux ... ) ? Is there any update of Thunderbird recently ?
We use blue host, seems as though outlook that we use as well is not working. Believe it is a blue host problem instead. Thanks !
Please let us know what you learn from blue host?
We have the same intermittent problem, when we use Kerio email from BigMountainMail. (no problems for 15+ years when connecting to my personal HostForWeb email server).
Just happened this morning when I sent a 1-word reply to a colleague on the same email server.
Sometimes happens with small attachments, large attachments, no rhyme or reason.
It does NOT happen to anyone who uses Outlook. Kerio has an Outlook auto-connector that sets up your mailbox for you.
BigMountainMail has provided extensive support and has no solution for Thunderbird.

I have the same issue on a single email address that uses IMAP, as do the other email addresses:
Thunderbird version 140.8.0esr (64-bit)
Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors.
I have tried suggestions to change: Copies & Folders> When sending messages, automatically:
Place a copy in: Other
As well, I have tried: In Thunderbird via advanced server settings, reducing the "maximum number of server connections to cache" from 5 to 3
Deleted the email account and reinstalled.
Deleted the email account as well as the data and reinstalled.
Went to the IMAP location and then properties, and made the folder writeable:
C:Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\n6f3pcok.default\ImapMail\xxxxxxx.xxxxxxx.com
xxxxxxx has replaced the actual name
The issue remains.

Does anyone know how to resolve this, or escalate it to support?
