all Firefox bookmarks cannot be found on my hard drive
Old laptop died , its not repairable, but the SSD Hard drive is OK , all the data on it and software is intact , but only thing I cant find or access is Firefox bookmarks and thats bad as i use them for my work ...what can i do to recover my bookmarks ???
Chosen solution
The bookmarks are saved in your Firefox profile.
If you can access files on the old hard drive, the profile should be here:
C:\Users\<YOUR-USERNAME-HERE>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
You can find help on how to recover stuff from an old profile here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-passwords-and-data-from-an-old-firefox-profile
On the bottom of that article, there is a link to this page which shows you which files within a profile contains your bookmarks, and other things: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-your-important-data-and-their-files.
Be careful and make backups in case something goes wrong when recovering the bookmarks from the old profile.
