Thunderbird keeps coming up with the message: The folder 'inbox on dveitch@202.215.17' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed.

There is plenty of disk space and compacting has been working fine until recently. Has a Thunderbird update changed something?

Chosen solution

It's a fixed bug which hasn't landed yet. Until it does, disable automatic compacting.

Is there a link to a bug report for this specific issue where it says what got addressed to fix it?
