You’ll need to use Proton Mail Bridge to connect ProtonMail with Thunderbird. Proton doesn’t allow direct IMAP/SMTP logins with your normal password.

1. Install Proton Mail Bridge on your Linux Mint system. 2. Sign in to your Proton account inside the Bridge app. 3. Copy the username, password, and ports that Bridge generates. 4. Enter those details into Thunderbird’s account settings.
