Thunderbird Inbox Corruption

Inbox displays nothing except a few emails from years ago. Troubleshooting mode shows a correct inbox. Returning from troubleshooting mode reverts to the incorrect inbox. Selecting Reset Controls while in troubleshooting mode corrected the issue.

Repair the Folder

1. In Thunderbird, right-click the Inbox that is giving you trouble. 2. Select Properties. 3. In the window that opens, click Repair Folder. • This rebuilds the folder index file (.msf) and often fixes problems with missing or duplicate messages.
