Emails missing / sub folders gone

Hi

We moved hosts (migrated our website and email) and Thunderbird suddenly lost all my previous emails and (strangely) my sub-folders. If I even search for an email now, it's there in heading but doesn't display if I click on it. It's made using Thunderbird too problematic, so have had to start using Apple Mail.

How can I recover my emails, drafts and inbox sub-folders?

Hi Graham,

How did you switch e-mail servers? Did you do anything to move messages from the old server to the new server?

By “subfolders”, do you mean local folders or folders stored on the server?

Is your account POP or IMAP?
