Password Manager
I guess it's just too simple for my needs. Without a field where I'm able to assign a recognizable name to an entry I'm in the position of having to memorize url's, instead of passwords. No gain. Frustrating!!!

Does the Firefox password manager's autofill feature not work for the websites you are using? In about:preferences#privacy, there is checkbox labelled "Fill usernames and passwords automatically".
I wanted to let you know that this idea has been proposed a while ago, but it is not in development. https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/add-custom-fields-in-password-manager/idi-p/11183 https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/add-title-or-tag-s-to-quot-logins-and-passwords-quot-page-and/idi-p/654
If you consider this issue to be very important, you could try using a password manager. Most of them allow you to add names to logins.
It generally works if I'm already on the site. Sometimes I don't remember the website url and search the password file to find it. In more than a few cases the url bears no resemblance to the website name. That's where the capability to add a common name to a saved password would be nice...
Thanks for the reply.
