I have exported my Outlook contacts to a .csv file. When I try to import into Thunderbird only the phone number shows. No other information.

I suggest this: - create at least one address, if not already done, in addressbook - export the csv - open in a spreadsheet program and also open your Outlook-created csv. Compare the top line and adjust the Outlook one to mirror the thunderbird one - this should now import easily.
