Hi Naveen, people work with bookmarks in many different ways. For example:

• click the star button in the address bar, then select the folder in that dialog
• open the folder where you want to save the bookmark, then drag the lock icon from the address bar to that folder and drop it to add a bookmark at the end of that folder's list

If you like to start from the folder and add the current page to it, there is an add-on you could test that gives you more control over the process. See: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-tab-here/

So that brings me to my question: what is your preferred way of adding bookmarks, and what do you mean by "the list becomes a mess"?

Sorry, I missed that it was Android. Trying to find things on the Bookmarks list on a small screen definitely is a chore. The fastest way to move a new bookmark to a specific folder is to watch for the confirmation bar that displays near the button of the screen when you bookmark a page, and tap Edit button on that bar. Otherwise, you need to go into the menu while still on the page and tap Edit Bookmark to change the folder. The problem is that your folder list is especially long?
