I recently upgraded to new software for Thunderbird. For some reason now, when I click on New message, it doesn't work. I can't write a new message and therefore I cannot do my work as I need to.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What is your version number at Help > About? Does it work after Help > Troubleshooting Mode?
