How to add third-party AI to chatbot sidebar?
I was planning to start using the AI chatbot sidebar finally, tried out all of the free options available and settled on HuggingChat. The very next day, HuggingChat ceased operations. I don't really like the other preset options, but I have a couple of other models that I would be interested in trying out. Is there some way to add a different model than the five preset or am I just out of luck?

It's unlikely, as we need to integrate APIs to make it operational in the sidebar. I've heard that Perplexity may be added soon, but there's no ETA yet. However, you might consider searching for add-ons with similar functionality.
I am also looking to use some local slms for such a purpose and if possible when tools use will be added to allow the AI to open tabs and click links, etc. (Comet browser like features)?
We're working on something like this, called AI mode, but I wouldn't expect it soon. It's in a concept/discovery phase.
