DOWNLOAD A COPY OF FIREFOX FOCUS WITHOUT REGISTERING A GOOGLE ACCOUNT
I require a copy of Firefox focus for my 87 year old mothers recent purchase of a bergstom android smart phone. My Mum knows absolutely Zero about the internet!! While I am happy for her to be able to browse the web, I am worried about here online safety and an email address increases her chances of signing into a site and imputing sensitive data. Hopefully, over time, if she learns the basic and the risks involved she can further explore the wonders of the internet? I am happy to send a telephone no, to which a direct link for the download could be sent.
Thank you
Steven Taylor

Hi Steven, Yes, you can download Focus from here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/focus/releases/139.0.4/android/focus-139.0.4-android-arm64-v8a/focus-139.0.4.multi.android-arm64-v8a.apk
If that APK is not compatible with you mother's phone, you can try 2 more APKs below:
- https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/focus/releases/139.0.4/android/focus-139.0.4-android-x86/focus-139.0.4.multi.android-x86.apk
You will need to send her the link yourself. We can not do that. It would better if you could setup her phone yourself. Hopefully the first link works as it is the most common APK used by the latest phones.
But you may run into one big issue. Which is Android doesn't allow people to install unknown apps that are downloaded from outside the Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Store. Going into the phone's settings to temporarily disable that security feature is not something your mother will be able to do easily. You'll have to do it yourself. After disabling it, you'll need to turn it back on so no other apps can be installed by unpredictable future malware or viruses she may encounter.
