I am currently working on my husband's computer. He has lost all his bookmarks after a FF update and a Windows update. I can see all the information on my computer and I have sync turned on his computer. I used different searches, but found that not all the information related to current updates. I have tried sync now (nothing changes) and tried to look at different files, but have gotten completely lost. I wondered if there is a step-by-step guide that you could recommend. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure how I did it, but bookmarks and all synced data is back. I no longer need an answer, but don't know how to delete the question.
