Feed Accounts are always created in Trash Floder

I am trying to create a Feed Account, however, every time I create one, it ends up as a subfolder in Trash. I have restarted Thunderbird, restarted Windows 10, updated Thunderbird, pulled all my hair out, yelled at the dog. Nothing I do creates the Feed Account as an independent folder, always in Trash.
